People ↔ Providers

PROVIDER PROFILES

For the first time, hiring local help does not have to mean hiring blind. My Corner lets you see and compare providers before you make a request — their services, service area, completed My Corner jobs, verified-job reviews, response behaviour, recommendations and available verification evidence.

Instead of being limited to one or two names passed around by word of mouth, you can look at a selection of providers and decide who best fits the job. Good providers get a place to build a visible track record. Requesters get more context before opening the door.

Know who you're hiring. My Corner lays out useful evidence. You bring the judgement.

TRUST EVIDENCE

A provider profile should help answer a practical question: what do I actually know before I hire this person? My Corner brings relevant evidence into one place so you can make a more informed decision.

PHONE & IDENTITY EVIDENCECompleted verification steps where an approved verification workflow exists.
COMPLETED MY CORNER JOBSRelevant work recorded as completed through the platform.
RECOMMENDATIONSCommunity recommendations with available source context.
RESPONSE RATEHistorical responsiveness to eligible requests made through My Corner.
ACCOUNT & BUSINESS INFORMATIONUseful account, service and professional context where available.
REVIEWED CREDENTIALSRelevant credentials with context about the applicable review process.
Trust evidence is context, not a guarantee. Verification does not predict future conduct, quality, safety, availability or the outcome of a job.
From need to clear request

JOB REQUEST

Start with the problem in your own words. My Corner AI can help structure what you typed into a clearer request, you review the suggestion, and then you can add photos or video to give the provider useful context before submitting.

Visible progress

MULTIPLE REQUEST STATES

Once the request is sent, you should not have to guess what happened to it. Clear states distinguish a request that has been submitted, one the provider has viewed, and one that has been accepted or declined.

SUBMITTEDVIEWEDACCEPTEDDECLINED

That visibility makes it easier to know when to wait, when to prepare for the job and when to keep looking.

JOB SAFETY SESSION

The Job Safety Session is not a collection of separate screens. It is one continuous hand-off from protecting information before the provider arrives to creating evidence and accountability once the in-person job begins.

BEFORE THE JOB

Protect first.

Keep sensitive information restricted until the accepted provider reaches the right stage of the job.

Provider waiting for the service pin
Exact location stays restrictedThe provider can see that a job exists, but the precise service location and session controls remain protected.
Provider confirming arrival
Arrival is deliberateOnce the service pin is released, the provider confirms that they have reached the job location.
Controlled service location access
Location access is controlledThe exact service location and instructions become available inside the authorized job flow rather than during public discovery.

The hand-off: agree the work, the price, then begin.

The requester and provider are now physically together. The provider can assess the job, both parties agree the scope of work and the price, and then the in-person confirmation moves the job into an active session. In the intended payment flow, the agreed funds are held while the job is active and released after both parties acknowledge completion, with an exception route required for disputes or non-response.

AS THE JOB BEGINS

Confirm. Record. Continue.

Turn the in-person meeting into an active My Corner job session with clear confirmation and completion evidence.

Six digit in-person check-in
Confirm the in-person meetingThe requester gives the six-digit code in person. The provider enters it to confirm the hand-off for this specific job.
Active job safety session
The job session becomes activeThe matching code connects the participants, job, timestamps and authorized session controls to the active work.
Two party completion
Both sides close the jobRequester and provider each acknowledge completion, creating a clearer end to the recorded job session.

Safety before the job. Accountability as it begins.

The design is intended to reduce unnecessary exposure of exact location information before the visit, confirm that the expected provider has actually arrived, connect the in-person job to a specific My Corner request, and create completion evidence afterwards. These controls strengthen the record around the job; they do not guarantee conduct or remove the need for personal judgement.

Then the trust loop continues. Once the job is completed, the requester moves into the review stage below. Their experience can become verified-job reputation evidence for the next person deciding who to hire.

Trusted Hire changes what hiring local help can look like.

Instead of a name passed around with little context, Trusted Hire connects the important moments: who you are considering, what evidence exists, what you requested, whether the provider responded, how the in-person job begins, how it ends and what the customer says afterwards. The ambition is to make informed choice and accountability the default rather than the exception.

After the job

LEAVE A REVIEW

The job may be finished. The reputation loop isn't.

Once the job is completed, the requester is prompted to review the service they actually received. This closes the Trusted Hire journey by turning a completed job into useful evidence for the next person deciding who to hire.

If the work was good, a positive review helps the provider build a stronger record based on confirmed My Corner work. If the experience was poor, the requester can document what happened and use the appropriate reporting route where necessary. That creates accountability without My Corner deciding the verdict for the customer.

Completed job → customer review → verified-job evidence → stronger information for the next hiring decision.
