People ↔ People

CommunityKnow your corner.

Your neighbourhood is more than where you live. It's the questions people ask, the groups they form, the things they organise and the information everyone needs. My Corner brings that local life into one place.

Ask a question. Share something useful. Add a photo. Hear from people who know the area. The Feed gives everyday neighbourhood knowledge somewhere to live beyond a passing conversation or group chat.

Groups

Find your people within your neighbourhood.

Groups create smaller spaces inside the wider community — for shared interests, local issues and organised communities. Residents can discover groups, see where they stand and request to join where membership is controlled.

Events

See what's happening. Decide to be part of it.

RSVP is part of the experience. A resident discovers an event, opens the full details, then chooses Going or Interested. That response is reflected on the event and can lead into reminder controls, so discovery becomes a clear participation journey.
From “what's on?” to “I'll be there.”

Where an event requires additional location privacy, precise details can remain protected until the appropriate attendee-release condition is met.

Agency Broadcasts

Official information should look official.

Agency Broadcasts create a distinct channel for location-relevant notices from the appropriate agencies and authorities. The range can be everyday and practical — such as roadworks, water pressure or electricity disruption — or urgent, including public-safety notices and natural-disaster warnings where the relevant authority issues them.

Local disruption→Service update→Public-safety alert→Severe warning

Source matters. Official agency information remains visually distinct from neighbour-reported information, with the issuing source visible.

Ask My Corner AI can help residents find relevant authorised information, but it should not invent an official alert or turn an ordinary community post into one.

Messaging

Keep the conversation moving.

Messaging gives people a direct way to continue a relevant conversation from the community experience without turning the public Feed into a private exchange.

Where community comes together

Your neighbourhood has a lot to say. My Corner helps make sense of it.

Conversations, Groups, Events and official local information each serve a different purpose. Together they make the neighbourhood easier to understand, join and participate in.
